How to add Arabic subtitles to a video

To add Arabic subtitles to a video, first create an SRT file from its Arabic audio track, review the result, and then import it into the media player or video editor you use.

The steps

1. Create an SRT. Upload your video or recording to the video to SRT tool, and choose the Arabic track when needed.
2. Review the text and timing. Correct words, dialect spelling, and names. Check the beginning, middle, and end of the recording for sync.
3. Import the file. In VLC or a similar player, choose the subtitle file. In a video editor, import it as a subtitle or caption track.
4. Export the way you need. Keep the SRT as a sidecar file, or use your editor to burn subtitles into a new video if your audience requires it.
